I'm one of those people who can never manage to stay warm during
the fall/winter months, no matter how many layers of clothing I wear.
But last week a friend of mine gave me a tip, and it works great, so
I thought I'd share it with anyone else who has the same problem.
Buy cashmere crewnecks and turtlenecks one size smaller than your
usual size, and wear them under your shirts as a thermal layer.
I cannot believe how much warmer and more comfortable than are
compared to cotton or wool thermals, and how much warmer they
keep me, even with just a light shirt worn over them. Now I can go
outside in 40 degree weather and literally not even feel the cold, at
least in the top half of my body. All I need to do now is figure out
how to give my bottom half the same protection.
