Are hand made suits really last longer than medium quality such as
Armani Collezioni suit in Saf's or Neiman Marcus? What is about fabric,
is the worsted wool last better and fancy milled wool?

I need few suits and want to keep them at least 7-9 yrs, I try to stay
out of trendy desing and looking for more classic fit. I am 50 yrs old,
5'7 with 33'' waist. I want to buy top quality so I don't have to
change my wardrode every few years.

How long a suit lasts depends primarily on how well it's cared for,
not how much it cost. Obviously I'm not talking about cheap suits
which fall apart after a few wearings, but as long as a suit is of
decent quality, paying another $500 or $3000 won't make it last
any longer.

Dirt, sweat and excessive dry cleaning are the major enemies of
wool. The keys to making suits last are to wear them as little as
possible (e.g. don't put them on until you have to, and take them
off as soon as you get home from work), and keep them cleaned
and covered with plastic or in a suit bag.

Are top quality "hand made" suits last longer than cheap suits?

Neiman Marcus or Saf's carry Armani Collection (not Black Label) and
Hugo Boss, are these "hand made" suits good?
