Shrinking Leather Pants

I was told that if I sat in a bathtub with my leather pants on, they would
shrink to size? Is this true?

I doubt it, but if they did, they might end up so tight that you can't get
them off, and that could be a problem (especially in the bathroom
emergency).

Actually, leather tends to stretch when it's wet and shrink as it dries.
Though technically it might stretch to fit a little better, than when you
get out
of the tub, keep them on and they may tighten where they were loose - though
perhaps too tightly in some places... you'd have to keep flexing them while
they were trying.

I wouldn't really try it though since it could totally ruin your pants. If
you do
try it, be sure to use a leather conditioner all over after wards. Leather
can crack
when it gets too wet and then dries.
