Silk drapes better than cotton or microfiber, but it's also prone
to snagging and staining, and must be dry cleaned in most cases.
It's been out of fashion largely for these reasons, and also
because it accentuates any physique problems men might have,
such as beer guts and love handles.
If you do buy silk, stick with solid, subtle and/or dark colors,
or very simple patterns. The shirt you're looking at is a little
too busy IMO.
