I'm a 47 year old man who from So.Cal who LIVES in jeans and T-shirts. I've
recently started dating a woman who's VERY fashion conscious.

The question is:
How can I find out what's "IN" for my age and area in men's fashion? The
weather's "different" here in So.Cal and trying to use a fashion reference
like GQ (for instance) doesn't necessarily take into account the "local"
climate (fashion or meteorological).

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Kenny

I found that GQ was aimed at New York, Boston, Washington / London etc.
The fashion was not practical for southern and Western USA especially in
the Summer time.

I found a good local mens store, one thats not part of a chain.
I liked the styles I saw in the racks and sought his opinion on things.
Worked out well for me. I'm sure there are similar stores in the So.Cal
area. Not sure how I found this place since they don't seem to advertise

I have found that Details mag is good; no matter how fashion conscious she
is, if you are wearing something like True Religion jeans and a Just Cavalli
shirt with Puma sneakers you will be approved.
