I have a pair of the knock-offs, which I use only inside my house, on
cold mornings. This both cuts down on the wear (of the poorly-made
soles, at least on the knock-offs I have owned) and, more importantly,
on the "uggly" factor.
There are few things sillier-looking than some guy wearing shorts and a
t-shirt and a pair of Ugg boots. Ditto for chicks, but I don't see this
combo as often with them...they must have a sixth sense about what
looks butt-uggly.

Tim et al,
Ugg boots are usually meant for winter wear,as they are so deliciously warm
and fun to wear. I can't imagine wearing them with shorts! But will fashion
ever cease to make thinking people wonder?
