Beautiful, Beautiful artworks, but the navigation is very awkward, I'd
really suggest you to redesign your website my friend

Sorry Derek, but you'll just have to go back to the drawing board...
1. - Too dark
2. - difficult to read the navigation
3. - Content needs a focus

All the sub-pages are on popup windows. Arrggghhhh!!!
All the links give a Geocities '404 errors'.
Try again.

Comments on the site:
I can deal with the pop-ups and all, but the overall site is dark and
uninspiring.
I didn't get a warm sense of human creation, but rather a cold, coded
website,
which of course, is what it is. It didn't feel like "you" were in
there... it felt like
I was looking at old video game art from the late 1980's. Also, the
LINK'S links
didn't work. The CONTACT screen opened up my email program which is,
for me,
pretty annoying. Perhaps you could have a page with your info instead?
Lastly, the banners on the entrance are a real bummer, but I assume
they cannot
be helped (free site?).
Comments on the art:
Some stuff was interesting, like the faces that repeat (bkm.jpg was
very cool, while byoncnhit.jpg was quite interesting). Interesting
shapes.
Overall, it would be hard to sell most of this art based on the
representation here. It is pretty inconsistent with the exception of
the "I like tits" feeling I got. It comes off somewhat immature and
under-developed. I mean, a lot of it didn't seem like the same hand.
I agree with your statement that "art doesn't have to be in a gallery
to be art,"
but think about this:
A person who knows about medicine is not necessarily a doctor.
Keep up the work and I applaud you for putting yourself up for
critique. |

thanks every body who replied I am after all still learning and at the
moment just trying to get a feel for what im doing. i'm not too good
at the old web design as you can probably tell or with word's which is
why i paint. this kind of response is exactly the shit that i'm
looking for. i never took any time to look at the site and realise how
shit it actually is.
I'm in the middle of re designing it
thanks for the advice
cheers
